Outdated is a Christian relationship book that addresses how modern dating culture—especially dating apps, casual relationships, and “instant chemistry” thinking—has reshaped how young adults pursue love, often in ways that lead to confusion, heartbreak, and shallow connections.

Jonathan “JP” Pokluda writes directly to singles and young adults who genuinely want lasting love but feel overwhelmed by today’s dating environment. The book argues that many of the common beliefs in modern dating culture—such as “love is just a feeling,” “the right person will complete you,” or “you should just follow your heart”—are misleading and often destructive.

Instead, Pokluda points readers back to a biblical framework for relationships, rooted in the belief that God is the one who designed love, marriage, and human connection in the first place.
